SASA ELECTS STUDENT HEADS
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy, the residential school in Ropar elects its student Heads for session 2012-13. Fifteen Senior Girls and Eight Boys contested for the crown. Addition to judgment of their Academic performance, the Senior Teachers also presented their judgments in regard to their Leadership Qualities, Participation in Co-curricular Activities, Self Discipline & Co-operation. There was stiff competition among the contestants. Miss. Jasmeen could turn up with the crown of Head girl and Mr. Roshan Lohan as the Head Boy. Miss. Jaskirat Kaur and Mr. Parminderpal Singh turned up to be Vice Head Girl and Vice Head Boy respectively.
The students and the teachers applauded them being the best to be elected and getting the seats in the Management of the Academy. Mr. Sukhjinder Singh, Director of the Academy received them in his office with the words, “It is easy to reach at top but very difficult to stay at the top. The only way to stay at the top is understanding the responsibilities and working hard to meet the challenges. Hard-work and self-discipline are both the best friends of the people on the top.
Mr. Rajan Chopra, Principal, Madam Sudesh Sujati, Vice-Principal and Madam Kamlesh Dawett, Headmistress were also present during this occasion.
