SASA ELECTS STUDENT HEADS

May 24, 2016 Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy, the residential school in Ropar elects its student Heads for session 2016-17. Twenty Three Senior Girls and Five Boys contested for the crown. Addition to judgment of their Academic performance, the Senior Teachers also presented their judgments in regard to their Leadership Qualities, Participation in Co-Curricular and Sports Activities, Self Discipline & Co-operation, Talent on the spot, question round and speech. There was stiff competition among the contestants. Miss Priyanka Rana could turn up with the crown of Head girl and Mr. AmrinderPal Singh as the Head Boy. Miss Jasdeep Kaur and Ravneet Kaur, Mr. Iqbal Singh turned up to be Vice-Head Girls and Vice-Head Boy respectively.

Similarly, Miss Kajal could turn up with the crown of Hostel Head Girl and Mr. Mankirat Singh as the Hostel Head Boy. Miss Bhawandeep Kaur, Hostel Vice-Head Girl and Mr. Bhupinder Singh turned up to be Hostel Vice-Head Boy respectively among 16 students who contested for the crown of Hostel Heads. 



The students and the teachers applauded them being the best to be elected and getting the seats in the Management of the Academy. Mr. Sukhjinder Singh, Director of the Academy received them in his office with the words, “It is easy to reach at top but very difficult to stay at the top. The only way to stay at the top is understanding the responsibilities and working hard to meet the challenges. Hard-work and self-discipline are both the best friends of the people on the top”.



Mr. Rajan Chopra, Principal, Madam Sudesh Sujati, Vice-Principal and Madam Kamlesh Dawett, Headmistress were also present during this occasion.
