Day Scholars & Transport

Parents admitting their wards as day scholars shall have to arrange their own conveyance for both reaching the Academy and picking up the child at the close of the Academy.

The Academy is not bound to provide transport & bus services to day-scholars. However, a limited number of buses are available. The Academy Authorities reserve the right to discontinue any bus route by giving three months’ prior notice before the start of the session.

All Academy buses are maintained as per the specifications of Local Administration and Legal Authorities. In the event of any accident (fatal or otherwise), parents using the bus service shall not hold the Academy Authorities responsible.

Rules & Regulations – Bus Service
  1. The bus service is for the complete session. Even if a student stops using the facility after a few days, payment for the entire session will still be charged.
  2. One-way bus service is not allowed. Even if special permission is granted for one-way travel, the student will still have to pay for both ways. Students staying back for evening Sports / Special Classes must be picked up by parents, but full two-way charges will still apply.
  3. Bus fee is to be paid on a quarterly basis in advance along with the Academy fee and funds.
  4. Payment is charged for twelve months. Running buses as per Supreme Court / Local Administration norms and paying all commercial charges necessitates full-session billing.
  5. The bus facility is meant only for students — not for parents or guardians.
  6. Any damage caused to the bus by a student will have to be compensated by the parents.
  7. Any indiscipline or misconduct while boarding or travelling in the bus will result in immediate withdrawal of the bus facility. No refund will be given in such cases.
  8. During bus breakdowns, parents will have to make their own arrangements for both dropping and collecting their ward.
  9. Students must board and alight only from the allotted stop. Parents should not insist on doorstep service or any other preferred location.
  10. Academy buses are used solely for carrying students and not for any commercial purpose. Breakdowns will be treated as natural occurrences. No concession or refund will be given for breakdown days. Parents must arrange alternative transport on such days.
  11. It is the sole responsibility of parents to hand over their ward to the bus conductor in the morning and receive them at the designated stop in the afternoon. The Academy is not responsible for dropping the student home.
  12. The student will use the bus facility only from the allotted stop. Requests for a new stop during the running session will not be entertained.
  13. Bus fee must be paid before the 15th of the due month of the quarterly fee. Payment after this date will attract a fine of Rs. 10/- per day for five days. After that, the student will not be allowed to board the bus. No prior information of discontinuation will be given.
  14. Parents will be bound to bear any taxes imposed by the State / Central Government from time to time. There will be an approximate 10% increase in bus fee every year.
  15. Bus service is subject to road conditions. If a road becomes uneven or unfit for bus operation, the service on that route will be stopped after informing parents. No refund will be made in such cases, and parents will have to arrange their own conveyance.
  16. During examination days, special classes, or when the number of students is low, students may be required to share a single bus on the same route.
Important: Bus facility is a privilege, not a right. The Academy reserves the right to discontinue the service for any student in case of misconduct, non-payment, or operational constraints without any claim for refund.
