SASA wins all three Titles

Ropar : CBSE Ropar Sahodaya School Tournament was organized at the Campus of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy (SASA) for Basketball (Senior), Volleyball (under -16 & 19) .During this Inter-School Sports Competition, in Semifinal Shiwalik Senior Secondary School Naya Nangal defeated Sri Dashmesh Academy Anandpur Sahib by 34-10. In final SASA defeated Shivalik Model Senior Secondary School by 45-21 in a very tuff competition. In Volleyball (Senior) in semifinal SASA gave a beat to International Public School, Kurali by 25-22, 25-19 and in final SASA defeated Sri Dashmesh Academy, Anandpur Sahib by 25-19, 25-12.

In junior Volleyball matches SASA defeated International Public School Kurali by 25-17, 14-25, 21-25.

Thus, SASA could have all three trophies as winner. In volleyball (Junior) Mr. Ranjodh Singh of SASA was declared the best player as well as in Senior the best shooter title went to Mr. Gurinderjeet Singh and in basketball the best player title went to Mr. Harmanjot Singh (both students of SASA). The matches were so interesting that not only the host school but also the schools of the District enjoyed the events. In the presence of coaches of other schools, Principal Mr. Rajan Chopra, Vice-Principal Mrs. Sudesh Sujati, School Inspector Ms. Tasveer Kaur & Mrs. Harminder Kaur as eminent guest, Mr. Sukhjinder Singh Director of the Academy gave away the prizes and certificates. He advised that such type of inter school matches & competitions are essential to build a better new brave world. The tournament ended with tea party.
