BHARTIYA BHASHA SUMMER CAMP 2025

June, 07 2025. Rupnagar Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy had organised Bhartiya Bhasha Summer Camp (BBSC) during the summer vacation, i.e., from May 31, 2025 to June 7, 2025, celebrating the linguistic diversity of India and leverages the power of languages, for improved pedagogy, cognition and learning outcome.

In order to accomplish the goal, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy initiated the learning of Bengali Language by the teachers, Mr. Debi Das Roy and Mrs. Jayanti Das, who are expert in it. May 31, 2025 (Day 1) started with great enthusiasm by introducing the Bengali language to the students. They were taught about Basic greetings and expressions, alphabets, numbers and signature, followed by "Role Play" activities on Day 2 (June 2, 2025). To make the learning process more interesting, Singing, Dancing and Painting activities were carried out Day 3 (June 3, 2025). On Day 4 (June 5, 2025) students were taught about traditional food items which includes spices, vegetables, fruits name. On Day 5 (June 6, 2025) a short film was shown to children in language with sub-tille in English. The concerned teacher also narrated patriotism portrayed by the Armed forces in various battles. Day 6 (June 6, 2025) Students were taught about the Indian Geography followed by a motivational speech to believe in Unity in Diversity and respect for all languages and cultures and in this regard, a Quiz was conducted and the winners were appreciated. With this, the students were given the opportunity to learn a new language in fun and engaging manner.
