SASA STUDENTS BACK HOME AFTER PARTICIPATING IN AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN SWEDEN
Rupnagar: Four students of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy (SASA) Miss
Bhawna Suneja, Miss Harman Tonk, Tanveer Singh and Karambir Singh
were selected for the International School Student's Conference in
Sweden. The Conference was held in Sigtna from March 5 to March 10
2026 under the Chairmanship of Dr. lars Johnson. School students from
15 countries shared their views on the topic of 'Sharing is Caring'. The
international students appealed to the Giants of Corporate Sector and the
leaders of prominent countries for kindly stopping the killings and
exploitation of humanity.
The students also presented electronically the work, being undertaken by
them at their school and country for the cause of peace along with
'sharing is caring'. They prepared charts to clarify their minds towards
their wish for peace.
The students were made to visit 'Alford Nobel Museum' and 'Avicii
Museum'in Stockholm just to made up their minds to become one of
them who win the noble prizes. The students learnt how the Swedish
Government works.
In addition to it, they were given a workshop to create an awareness
about renovating the old objects and giving the students an opportunity
to learn to ensure that natural resources are not mean to be wasted for
excess of production. Last day the students tuned together with their
traditional culture and music which ended with the distribution of
certificates.
