66th Punjab School Games initiated in Rupnagar
Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar inaugurated Shooting Competitions under-19 at Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy.
66th Punjab School Games for the session 2022-23 has been initiated in the entire State. Dr. Preeti Yadav, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Rupnagar inaugurated Shooting Competitions under-19 at Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy, Rupnagar. She not only declared the games open but also shot the first shot at the target with the Air-Rifle. All were wonder struck to see that she got ten out of ten while targeting the target in the center. Speaking during this occasion Dr. Preeti Yadav suggested the participants to play at their utmost of their calibre. She blessed the shooters of the State for their best in the games.
It is worth to be noted that these competitions in the Shooting are being held at the Shooting Range of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Academy, Rupnagar. The competitions would go on from November 15 to 17, 2022 and final prize & Medal distribution function would be taking place on November 18, 2022. For which Mr. Harjot Singh Bains, The Hon’ble Education Minister would be the Chief Guest.
During this occasion Mr. Sukhjinder Singh, Chairman, the Principal of the Academy, Mr. Rajan Chopra, Vice-Chairperson Mrs. Harminder Kaur, Deputy DEO Sh. Surinder Pal Singh, DM Sh. Baljinder Singh, Principal Sh. Rajinder Singh, Principal Sh. Kulwinder Singh Sh. Gurudial Singh and State Awardee & Director Tournament Sh. Narinder Singh Banga were present.
