An Educational Tour to Science City
SAS Academy, a leading educational institution in Rupnagar, Punjab, organized an educational tour to Pushpa Gujral Science City (PGSC) . A group of students from grades 5 to 12, visited the science city to explore its various galleries, theatres, and exhibits.

The tour was aimed at enhancing the students’ interest and curiosity in science and technology, as well as exposing them to the latest developments and innovations in various fields. The students had a chance to interact with the experts and scientists at PGSC, and participate in various hands-on activities and demonstrations.

Some of the highlights of the tour were the space and aviation gallery, where the students learned about the history and future of space exploration and flight; the dinosaurs park, where they saw life-size models of prehistoric creatures; the digital planetarium, where they watched a show on the wonders of the universe; and the flight simulator, where they experienced the thrill of flying an aircraft.

The students also visited the defence gallery, the energy park, the climate change theatre, the amazing living machine gallery, and the virtual reality gallery. They were amazed by the variety and quality of the exhibits, and the interactive and engaging way of learning.

The tour was a memorable and enriching experience for the students, who expressed their gratitude to the school management and the PGSC staff for arranging and facilitating the visit. The students said that they gained a lot of knowledge and inspiration from the tour, and that they would love to visit the science city again.

SAS Academy is committed to providing its students with the best learning opportunities and exposure, both inside and outside the classroom. The school believes that such educational tours are essential for developing the students’ scientific temper, creativity, and critical thinking skills. The school plans to organize more such tours in the future, to different destinations and institutions of learning.
