SASA congratulates all the students, staff members and parents while announcing that, like every year this year also 13 students from SASA just came back from USA after attending a UN Conference in Washigton DC and New York.

The students include Anoop Singh Chahal (Grade 12 Passout), Jang Jujhar Singh (Grade 12 Passout), Varinderjit Kaur (Grade 12 Passout), Satnam Singh (Grade 12), Manpreet Kaur (Grade 12), Sukhwinder Singh (Grade 11), Indervir Singh (Grade 11), Gurbux Singh (Grade 11), Harbinder Singh (Grade 11), Dilpreet Singh (Grade 10), Sandeep Singh (Grade 10), Gurinder Singh (Grade 10) and Harshpreet Kaur (Grade 9). The students from more than 80 countries participated in this 12 daylong conference. The participants discussed the global issues among each other and presented resolutions on these issues in United Nations Headquarters in New York at the end of the conference. The students also visited many important places namely Capitol Building, The White House, Manhattan, Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Ground Zero (Twin Towers) etc.

The conference helped the students to discover the leader inside them and made them realize that the globe is a small village where people from various nations can work together to solve global problems. SASA is proud of these students and congratulates them for wonderful exhibition of their talent, manners and etiquette throughout the tour. We also hope that these students will become a guide for many others in enlightening their paths while sharing their global experience.
