The Heads Contest for the session 2009-2010 was conducted in SASA from May 08, 2009 to May 18, 2009. The eligible candidates were chosen from Grade 12 based on their scores in Grade 11. In total, 30 students participated in the contest with the ratio of 20 girls to 10 boys. The contest lasted for ten days in which the students competed while exhibiting various qualities they possessed, whose judgment was embedded into various rounds namely Creative Writing, Oration, Extempore, Talent Round and Common Question Round. The contest was followed by a Voting session in which the Officers of SASA namely Monitors, House Heads, House Volunteers etc. voted for their favorite candidate among the finalists.

SASA takes pride in declaring JASPREET KAUR as the HEAD GIRL and LOVELEEN RATTAN as the HEAD BOY for the session 2009-2010. The title for the VICE HEAD GIRL was won by SHIKHA SHARMA and VICE HEAD BOY by HARMAN SINGH.

Among the other titles, the Best Creative Writer Girl and Boy were Shikha Sharma and Sarabjeet Singh. The Best Orator Girl and Boy were Shalakha Dhir and Loveleen Rattan.. Jaspreet Kaur and Loveleen Rattan also won the titles for Most Reckoning Girl and Boy. The title for Most Talented Girl and Boy went to Achint and Loveleen Rattan. The Most Enlightened Girl and Boy were again Jaspreet Kaur and Loveleen Rattan. From the voting session it was clear that the Most Favourite Girl and Boy were Shikha Sharma and Loveleen Rattan.
